About: Whatever you do, do it properly. Don't half do a job, or trudge through something day after day never fully committed. You either dedicate yourself to doing things properly or wind up being that mediocre person down the hall who's only claim to anything is that they even bother to turn up.Music: Indie, some punk, aussie hip hop, as well as classic older rock like the doors. Generally anything that's creatively and skillfully done, not generic top 40 crap. Examples would be along the lines of The Shins, Frenzal Rhomb, the Hilltop Hoods, Gotye, although not all on the same night. Always looking for new music, especially aussie stuff, so let me know if you've anything to recommend.Movies: Something a bit deeper or offbeat rather than the latest will smith blockbuster. Watched Dr Strangelove t'other day, it's probably representative of the movies that interest me.WhatImInto: Outdoorsy things - motorcycles, mountain bikes, short walks and longer hikes. I'm into pretty much anything physical, and lack the good sense to avoid doing things that may cause injury or death. Politics - if you're into politics, great. If not, it's best if you stay away from the subject as a general comment such as "Howard's a dick" is likely to turn into a three hour monologue on the relative benefits of the extreme right and left schools of political theaory, and how they could have their better points combined into a gigantic blob of socialibertarianism.MyBestFeatures: My broken nose, love handles, gargantuan ego, expansive vocabulary, and the all important ability to be both self deprecating and incredibly arrogant at the same time. I try not to take anything too seriously. I'm pretty laid back and can get along with almost anyone.MyDreams: Short term - graduate, get PhD, write thesis on ecopolitics that just knocks everyone's socks off and singelhandedly destroy Andrew Bolt. Longer term - become independent federal politician, possibly form party of like-minded anarchonutjobs and generally oversee the downfall of Australia's economy before fleeing to Canada and trying to ruin things for the Canadians as well.
